Why do you care?

Ever got some nasty comments or bad reviews on anything that you love to do? Ever got criticised by people for doing something and not succeeding or doing something and succeeding too? Ever thought of doing something but leaving it half way because ‘log kya kahenge’? After all this you still doubted yourself for not being worthy just because you were stopped from following your heart, following your passion, doing what you love! You’re finally at the right place because from now on you’re never going to give up on yourself, NEVER!
Few days back I read a quote by Lao Tzu which said “Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner”. The moment you accept it & realise this, you’ll stop caring.

Do you care? No. Excellent.
Do you care? Yes. Why do you care? Probably you don’t know or maybe you are scared to face the consequences. It’s not their life so it’s none of their business. Whatever is best for you might not be best for them. People have different opinions and mindsets. No one can change them so why do you? People’s thoughts, ideas and views change on a regular basis. Even if somebody thinks badly of you at the moment, there is a good chance that they will think different in future when things are not the same. Once you succeed, people change! The exact people who told you that you can’t do it will cheer for you and say ‘I always knew you’re the best’.
Well if Michael Jordan gave up on his dream of becoming one of the best basketball players when he was cut from his high school’s basketball team, he would’ve not been what he is now! Do you know, even Harry Potter was rejected by 12 publishers! Lol seriously? Well, yes.
Some people really try to bring you down. They think you’re good for nothing. You might feel bad about it but remember, Never Give Up! It’s never too late for anything. Just remember what you need to say to them – “YOU DO YOU”
You only have one life to live so why would you spend it worrying about people’s opinions? Do whatever you want, be whoever you want.

Let people say whatever because ‘kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna’. Life is too short to care for people. Do what makes you happy!

Please leave a comment if you like it or a suggestion so that I can improve it. Thank you!

A desire to change

Sometimes later becomes never, so do it now! ✨

Hello guys! My name is Sanmeet Kaur. I am 21 and a Delhite. I am a Bcom.(Hons) graduate from Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Delhi University. I am a teacher by profession. I have always been really passionate to write and wanted to become a part-time writer. Finally I am starting with what I’ve always admired. It’s just a start and I really need some good and influential topics to write and need your help for that.

I promise you that whatever topics you’re going to write or whatever questions you’re going to ask, I will be considering all of them for sure! There is no such limitation that your topic can be related to Lifestyle, fashion etc etc, it’s upto you whatever you want to ask, suggest and even criticism is welcomed!

I’d be posting the most relevant data for you. Hope you find my posts and my blogs interesting.

You can share your views below in the “leave a comment” section. Waiting for your responses eagerly.

By a police officer, a government official, a father, a brother, a son, a husband, A HUMAN BEING!

We post it. We share it. We know it. Being a police officer, government official or any damn human being, I’m sure he reads the news & he is aware of all the wrong acts going on in our society so we can’t say that the people who are unaware of this are doing it, the people who are not educated enough, people who don’t have a mother or a sister or even a daughter are doing it, the people who don’t have a heart are doing it, right? Because these are the ones who are doing it! I’m sorry but this time I don’t have an answer for this.

This isn’t a reality show, this is not Roadies. We can’t abuse people and tell them they’re wrong because they are not even listening to us! We can’t teach people that this is wrong because they won’t understand, they’ll give reasons.

We are living in a society where getting rape threats is normal because “rape kara toh nahi na”.

We are living in a society where rapes are normal because “government kar kya legi?”

We are living in a society where rapes are not given much importance now because “abhi toh pandemic chalra hai, ye zada bada topic hai toh sirf issi pe dhyaan dete hain.”

We are living in a society where we are scared of posting rape stories or helping someone going through this because “government kuch kar nahi rahi, agla number humara hoga.”

We are living in a society where rape convicts who themselves accept their crime are hanged after 8 years.

Congratulations, we are all safe in our homes because “bahar jaenge toh rape hojaega na!.” (Some are also not safe at home)

All I can say is please protect yourself & the people around you. Support each other. We are here to raise a voice, we can make your story go viral, we can spread the word, but after all this is social media and this is the only power we have!

It is not a joke. We can’t pass a judgement to it. We don’t want to hear anything. Actions speak louder than words. We need them!

This can not be undone!

Don’t just be another women in the scene watching it all but running away to save herself!

My views might differ from you & this is the least I can say right now. I don’t think we have a solution because those responsible for it are the same people who are doing it. We are doing what we think is right but I feel sad to say that no action of ours is solving our purpose. I think whatever we all are post means nothing to anyone but just a random story people are tired of hearing. The feeling we all get when we hear about all this can not be expressed ever!

Wishing you all a very safe life & requesting you to take care of your loved ones or even if someone you just know needs any help from your side, please be there. Be selfless.

Your only competition is you 💕

Every day, we are surrounded by images and individuals that remind us that we need to have more and do more. In business, this pressure often comes from our competition.

Sometimes our competition can be intimidating. They can make us feel as though our ideas are too small or that we will never be as good.

However,  it is not really our competition that is the issue here. It is our fear of reaching heights of greatness that we never thought of as possible.

Over-analyzing our competition can distract us from what we should be doing and where we should be going. We become accustomed to the falsehood because someone else is winning & we think we are losing. A flower doesn’t think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.

Use competition to inspire and enlighten rather than disenchant yourself. Often those who see the most successful competitors in their industries as inspiration strive to do better in their own businesses.

Use your competitors as catalysts for change and sources of motivation. They are not there to limit your success. There are enough opportunities to succeed for all of us. At the end of the day, you need to compete with yourself.

Here are the reasons why you need to be your own competition.

🌷 It will stop you from comparing yourself to others.

🌷 It will keep you focused on your goals.

🌷 It will give your business the attention it deserves.

We are living in a time where there is enormous pressure on all of us, especially young people. we face failures and rejections throughout our life but no matter how many reasons there might be for why, there are always more reasons for why not!

Some people are fed up of life because their parents are being hard & harsh, they are dealing with heart breaks, some students are getting low grades, some are not being successful and so many endless reasons. But remember, even after the darkest part of the night, there’s a day light!

Parents should give their children a boost by showing them that they believe in them, that they should have faith in themselves. They should be careful & not blame their child, let them know that talking to you about it is the right thing, don’t punish them if they did something wrong, do not expect them to get over it or work it out by themselves, talk about what can be done.

If you ever think of suicide just don’t stay alone, cut off all ties with toxic people, look at how far you have come, remind yourself that nothing lasts forever, don’t lose hope, call a therapist or someone you’re close to, if it’s an emergency, call the police(help is only one call away), talk to someone who is always positive. If you have any elder sister or brother, talk to them, open up to them.

Make life easy for one another. If you have saved a single soul it is like you have saved an entire humanity. You’ve got to-be easy. Allow people to make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. It’s never an end of the road. You’ve a purpose to live. You still have people who love you. Never think of quitting! Thank god for what you have and let him decide who stays till when.

Nepotism is omnipresent.

A chairman of a successful company will not give his chair to the best guy in the office, he will always give it to his son/daughter!

Similarly, A seth of jewels will not give his business to the best salesman working round the clock and is the most honest person he ever met.

Still. That should not stop us from seeing dreams!

What we can do? We need to grind and be prepared with the skill and proper mindset, not take any day for granted, then only we can fight it, with our own skill our own craft our own hard work.

It is alright that nepotism gives some fortunate people the chance easily, the second chance easily, the 3rd and even the 4th chance easily but that doesn’t mean they will keep getting chances.

Then who will get the next chance?

The one who is prepared !

DON’T LET PEOPLE DEFINE YOU.

Your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth. We as humans like to label & divide people into categories & in return, we too are defined by others. The biggest vulnerability we all got is that we actually value somebody’s opinion more than we value our own. As long as you worry about other people judging you, you will play small, you will hedge and you will end up living somebody else’s version of your life.

You define your own life. Do things that people tell you can’t do. Don’t let other people write your script. The only way you win is when you realise you can’t hear anybody. IGNORE THE NOISE.

You’re strong. You’re confident. You’re diligent. You’re kind. You’re brave. You’re charming. You’re honest. You’re compassionate. You’re resilient. & the most important thing, You’re who you’re and whatever you think you’re! YOU’RE ENOUGH. Most of all there’s a good human within you! What’s more lovely than all this?
